About Us

Over the course of our 40 plus years of combined experience working in the healthcare industry, we decided that there was a better way to help people at all levels in the realm of long term care.

We wanted to find a way to give back to the community that has allowed us to expand and grow our knowledge.

We felt that providing adult education was a way to help anyone enter that world by becoming a STNA, medication administration tech, provide needed CPR training and offering much needed continuing education.

We hope to be able to help not only locally through a “brick and mortar” learning center, but also by providing online trainings and educational packets.

We want to support those who feel lost.

Meet the Team

This adventure also allows us freedom. Freedom to be able to provide education around our own schedules that is more beneficial to our potential students and clients; freedom to provide education and training opportunities to management teams and facilities with our undivided attention. By providing uninterrupted education, this allows us to focus on the client and their needs, to provide value to them to help them obtain improved resident outcomes and better care.

We want to be the support for those that feel lost.

I have more than twenty years of experience in long term care. I started as a nursing assistant in 2001 working in the areas of traditional long term care with a specialty in memory care. I continued my education at Belmont College completing the Licensed Practical Nursing program in 2005 and immediately transitioned into the Associate Degree nursing program at West Virginia northern Community College, graduating in 2007. I continued my education at West Liberty University, graduating in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in science and nursing. Over the past 21 years I have continued to grow in long term care. I have been wound care certified for over seven years and hold an active license as a nursing home administrator.

Over my twenty years I have a combined 12 years of upper-level management and more than eight years of long germ care consulting experience, specializing in quality measures, reimbursement and multiple facility management.

I have more than twenty years of experience as a registered nurse. I began my nursing career working as a nursing assistant while attending nursing school at Kent Statue University. I graduated from KSU in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a new nurse I started in med-surg, working my way into telemetry and ICU as a travel nurse. After I finished traveling, I worked as a labor and delivery nurse for several years. I transitioned from the acute care setting to long term care 9 years ago. After starting in long term care as a community liaison, I have held many positions including staff development coordinator, infection preventionzist, director of nursing and regional nurse. In my years of long term care working in upper management positions, I have gained invaluable knowledge related to regulatory compliance, quality improvement strategies, quality measures and multiple facility management.
