If your West Virginia CNA certificate has been lapsed for less than five years, you may be eligible to complete a 16 hour refresher course instead of retaking the entire CNA training program.

The WV CNA Refresher Course is designed for eligible West Virginia CNAs whose certificate has been lapsed for less than five years.
Instead of completing the entire CNA training program again, eligible CNAs can complete a 16 hour refresher course.
Focused Foundations offers this training as a two day course. Participants must attend both days of the refresher course before taking the state examination again.

• West Virginia CNAs whose certificate has been lapsed for less than five years
• Eligible CNAs who need to complete the required refresher training
• CNAs preparing to take the West Virginia state examination again
